My name is Adam Billings and I am very, very excited to be joining the Percussion staff of the Blue Saints for the 2013 season.

Drum Corps has been in my family for over 40+ years, my mother marched with The Ventures in the early 1970’s, my aunt and uncle marched in the Kiwanis Kavaliers in the 70’s as well. I started off in the Cadets of Dutch Boy in the fall of 1996. In 1998, the organization decided to drop the cadets and simply be called Dutch Boy. I was a member of the front ensemble from 1997 until 2004. 2005 was a big year for me, stepping into the Drum Major’s position for 2 years. In my two years as Drum Major of Dutch Boy, the drum corps made it into DCI Divisional Finals. I aged out from Dutch Boy in 2006, marking the end of my drum corps career. I spent the next 3 years as a member of the Administrative staff, volunteering during KW Oktoberfest, bingos and during tours. In 2009, I also got back into volunteering with an organization that started some of my family members drum corps starts, Ventures. To this day, I am still a member of their volunteer staff, bingo worker and huge advocate.

I am looking forward to bringing what I have learned over my years of the activity. Very excited for Blue Saints 2013!!!
