Marched hornline for two years (89 & 90), then switched to guard. Marched guard from 1991 - 1994, assistant guard instructor from 94 - 96, head instructor from 97 - March of 2001....so as you can imagine there are WAAAAYYYYY too many memories! I guess the best ones would be all of the friends that I made over the years! Seeing guard members accomplish goals, watching members compete at Individuals (I was SOOO nervous for them!), stinky socks in my pillowcase, cold showers, smelly gym floors, hot busses, Terry's "blow this" shirt....it was all a great part of the experience! |

Winning first competition in a long time! (JR D!!! Toronto). Playing in a quartet with Dave Rajotte, my sister Dianne, and JP Giroux, and winning in our division (Junior C) and then coming in second place behind the Jr A group... thanks to my instructors! I'm still playing, and enjoy it very much! Also remember our leader, Ted Rajotte, tranferring all our stuff from one bus, to another, by himself, in the middle of the night, when they found out the first bus couldn't cross the Canada US border... boy was he tired the next day! |

Life moves on and school and work gets invloved. Best times were on the bus, getting to know the corps. I remember when we went to Chippawa Falls WI, and it was so hot there, the black of our shoes melted to the pavement. We all kept saying, "please just rain, anything but this!". Next day it rained so hard, all day... we kept wishing we were back into yesterday. In 05, the drum major lost a bet to the color gaurd, and he had to shave his head. A memory that I will always keep in my mind.I will also never forget Bill. he made a huge difference in our corps in 06. scoring that 50, never felt so good!! |

Having great friends, lots of pride in what we achieved. Still LOVE Drum Corps after all these years.Marched with the Blue Saints, Imperial Knights, Les Dynamiques Sr., Grenadiers, Lamplighters, & now with the Brigadiers Alumni in Syracuse. Also played with Heritage Hands Ottawa Drum Club for a number of years. This is the best past time ever in my book!!! Greeting too ALL. Keep on Drumming!!! |

I met my late wife in the corp, Mary O'Connell. What else can I say? We were married 27 great years. The Corps really did shape our lives growing up and it kept us out of trouble.Bert Millar was the music instructor ahh what memories. |

My best memories are travelling with all the great people. I also loved death camp (i know im weird) but it makes u feel good working so hard for what you want. And the feeling when you walk out on that field gives you a pride . Pride for yourself and your corps. I have to say bluesaints is my favorite place to be.!! |

Started instruction from Jen in the Guard; had the privlegde to be assistant Drum Major to the infamous John George and spent my last year filling in. Way too many memories, corps camps at the boy scout hideaway...watching meteor showers & tenting with Krysta & Laurie. Peter, Chuck, Melissa, Matt, Roberta, Donna, everyone - you made them the best summers of my youth! |

Who else but Mr. Risdale guiding us on the drum line as rookies. He taught me how to be musical as a snare drummer, and his words of wisdom stayed with me thru all my musical career, beyond drum corps. Those words still guide me today: "It's not how many notes you can play in a measure, but how accurately you leave the rests between them that make you a true musician". Thanks Mr. Risdale.! |
